This traditional style, dual street frontage house was in need of a modern makeover. We were guided by a strict council character overlay to the front of the house, which presented a challenge for us to maintain the existing façade whilst converting the interior into the modern design statement it is today. Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds? In keeping with the existing front of the homes character, the front rooms remained relatively unchanged. The rear of the house was demolished to create five bedrooms, theatre, gym, rumpus, DLUG, and a master bed quarters to die for. We think even Carrie Bradshaw would approve of the enormous 7m long walk in robe. The kitchen is fit for a chef feeding a football team! The living areas open to alfresco dining areas with a beautiful northerly aspect and plunge pool, shaded by a beautiful jacaranda. Budget – $750,000 – $1,250,000
