The brief from our client was to create an extension to their newly purchased home that looked like it was always there, whilst adding much needed space for the family to enjoy for many years to come.
The existing two bedroom one bath home was left virtually untouched, with only small alterations required to add on the two storey extension which effectively tripled the homes square metrage. The extension added two bedrooms including a master suite to the upstairs, creating a modern four bedroom, two bath, dual living area home more suited to the lifestyle requirements of a family in 2020. The downstairs extension area allowed for an open plan kitchen – dining – living area with a generous alfresco through oversized glass sliders.
