Some would look at this original run down cottage and and think demolish. However, our clients had big dreams for this character home in Kelvin Grove.
The brief for this project was to retain the traditional character charm at the front of the home, with a modern complementing design to the back. Our clients loved the idea of a modern entertaining space with high ceilings and a feeling of openness. We designed a void over the living room and a two storey void over the alfresco. Paired with bifold doors which allow the inside living to flow into the outdoor living, the desired effect was achieved. The space feels inviting, open, modern and grand.
The result of this raise and build in under renovation, certainly turns heads. It has transformed a rundown cottage into an absolute entertainer’s dream!
