This beautiful Bardon Queenslander just needed a little more space and fortunately the long, flat lot had plenty of room to spare. Our clients brief was to create as much extra room as possible for their young family to enjoy; with a focus on indoor-outdoor connectivity, entertaining and backyard living with addition of a pool.
A generous 6m extension was designed, incorporating 3m internally and another 3m outdoors which created spacious lounge with a large void over, creating soaring 5m ceilings allowing neighbourhood views from the upper level extension. A wall of glass windows and doors divide the new deck from the extended living area, creating beautiful light and bright living areas that are seamlessly connected.
