That 80's Brick House Gets A Face Lift and some Practical Renovations at Kangaroo Point

Our clients brief was to give their recently purchased property a new lease on life. It was stuck in the 80’s with features such as yellow brick with contrasting red and green trim. Extensive internal renovations to modernise the home were undertaken, plus a modern facade update, double carport (to rectify a tricky tandem parking situation), large patio and pool were all that was needed to bring this home in to the future.

On the first floor, the existing home had five bedrooms with three being very small. By removing one of the bedrooms that wasn’t required, we were able to create an ensuite for the master bedroom, increase the size of the main bathroom and maximise the size of the second bedroom.

The cosmetic changes to the street frontage and facade updated and brightened the look of their house. A new double carport and front fence now frame the property, providing privacy on an otherwise busy street. A relaxing retreat was added to the rear with a spacious patio that connected the house to the beautiful new plunge pool.
