This isn’t just a renovation, it’s a complete transformation for this single storey home.
The clients brief was to transform this single storey home, into a partial 3 storey family home whilst keeping the structural members of the existing ground floor to help reduce the construction costs.
This Palm Springs inspired design includes a bar on the 3rd floor and a basketball court. To maximise the beautiful water views, we have created a large open plan master suite on the water front with a focal fire place. Our clients work from home, so a home office was a must have. All bedrooms are larger in size, complete with walk in robes – lucky children!
This block came with a few challenges due to it’s flood prone overlay however we successfully overcame these challenges during many discussions with town planning and the engineer.
