Soil testing before building is crucial – because a strong foundation starts beneath the surface.
A qualified soil technician will visit your site to drill a minimum of two boreholes near the proposed foundations. We gather key information like drainage, fill or soft ground, water tables, underground services, and tree locations.
We classify and log the soil types from the boreholes when they are tested in our in-house lab to determine soil reactivity.
The finds, combined with lab results, are compiled into a soil report. This report can be provided to your builder or engineer for footing and slab design. JUMA Consulting Engineers can easily provide you with R.P.E.Q. engineering and Form 15 documentation, which is required for building approval.
