The Paddock Bakery keeps it real and simple, baking beautiful sourdough breads out of their woodfired oven at Miami.

Creating an enormous buzz in the local area and beyond, this renovation exceeded the owner’s expectations. Their handmade woodfired oven sourced from Tasmania was made into a feature with a large fixed glass panel from floor to ceiling enabling patrons to view it from the dining area. Wanting to keep the integrity of the original house while updating it with a fresh, new look recycled, bricks were imported from Melbourne to add to the charm of the property and a landscaping plan implemented that allows the organic garden beds and alfresco dining to shine and enhance the existing streetscape – which local Council love! An internal layout that successfully caters for customers who want to just pop in for a quick takeaway coffee and those looking to enjoy a long lunch on the built-in day bed is the icing on the cake.
